Zuzu Concept Store Interview

One of Dat Butter’s main goal is partnering with local key partners to develop a network of well established and parallel perspective and goals as Dat Butter of helping the people of Vietnam and her people like farmers. We have started developing these sales network and one of the first business to jump onboard is ZuZu Concept store. We fell in love with the store, their mission and especially the owner Tomoko. From her name, you may guess she is a native Japanese – who fell in love with Vietnam while traveling here. We want to share her story by asking a few quick questions:

Q Who are you and what is your store about?

We are Olivier and Tomoko / ZUZU owner ZUZU concept store is a cozy café and concept-store, Located in an old traditional Vietnamese house, in the heart of Thao Dien.

Q: How did you guys get started?  Why Vietnam?

Born from our wish to offer a unique and unforgettable experience to our visitors, Zuzu. We’re French and Japanese, love Vietnam, so we propose a Journey between East and West, past and present.

Q: What is the most challenging things about starting your business?

We’ve faced many difficult situations because of different culture and business customs… But always Vietnamese friends, workers, even stranger helped us. We couldn’t start up our business without our friends supports.
